Full day Falls, game drive, City tour, market, lunch & Mukuni Village Tour
This tour starts with a guided walk in the rainforest to view the spectacular Victoria Falls. Recommended season is Jan-Sept as the Falls on this side sometime dry up. Continue to the Musi-oa-Tunya National Park, a wildlife sanctuary on the banks of the Zambezi River which boasts 3 white rhino, various antelope, buffalo, giraffe, wildebeest, kudu, waterbuck, warthog and zebra. There is beautiful riverine vegetation and stunning views across the Zambezi River. Continue to the town of Livingstone with its wide streets, avenues of beautiful trees, buildings with high ceilings and mosquito-netted verandahs. Visit the famous Maramba market which is a bustling colourful market which sells everything from fruit and vegetables to bright chitenge (local fabric). Lunch is included (excluding drinks). After lunch continue to Mukuni village, an opportunity to see how the local people live in a real African village. It has a population of 7,000, a clinic, basic school and boreholes for drinking water. Clients see how huts are built and decorated, meet residents and see the locals at work creating curios. Zambia visa fees are not included in the tour price.
