Cape Peninsula Tour

Full day Cape Peninsula tour along one of South Africa's most scenic routes. Enjoy the dramatic views from Chapman's Peak Drive before reaching Cape Point where (by tradition) two marine ecosystems and oceans meet. Take the funicular to the old lighthouse overlooking this dramatic coast. The Good Hope Nature Reserve with its diversity of fynbos flora covers 7 750 unspoiled hectares of the southern most tip of the Cape Peninsula. Drive through the historic naval base, Simon's Town, with a visit to the penguin colony at Boulders, continuing through Fish Hoek and Muizenberg to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Kirstenbosch was established as a centre for the preservation and study of the indigenous flora of southern Africa and has over 5000 species. All year round one can enjoy glorious living displays of wild flowers and the magnificent collection of cycads, silver trees and other shrubs, plants and trees. The Shona sculptures are also intriguing.
