DAY 3
Enter the Namib-Naukluft Park at sunrise and watch the first sunlight turn the dune desert into a picture of stark and almost extra-terrestrial beauty. Travel down the Tsauchab River Valley to the famous Sossusvlei, a clay-bottom pan surrounded by some of the highest sand dunes in the world. The energetic traveler may wish to climb a dune to experience the endless vistas across a sea of ever changing coloured sand. Enjoy a picnic lunch under age-old Camelthorn trees before returning to the lodge via the Sesriem Canyon with it′ s fascinating rock formations.
