Transfer from the Cape Town International Airport to your hotel

A magnificent world-class hotel of contemporary Victorian design, situated close to the historic, stone breakwater (circa 1860), adjacent to turn of the century warehouses and the modern Victoria Wharf shopping mall.

Peaceful, tastefully decorated guest rooms are unique in their Victorian style, with white and bright light adding a Mediterranean touch. Walk-in cupboards and marble finishes contrast with oak armoires and writing desks. Each bedroom is fitted with a butler station and honour bar, together with tea and coffee making facilities.

Each room boasts full satellite television access, a wide selection of channels and the most up to date videos. 24-hour valet service and in-room dining are available. Three telephones, offering sophisticated voice-mail facilities, plus a two incoming line system, are provided in each accommodation.

Bathrooms include separate showers, water closet and baths with separate hand-shower facilities. Marble vanities include a hair dryer and a full range of internationally acclaimed cosmetics and toiletries are provided. Amenities include Mediterranean-style kimono's, make-up mirrors and bath stool.

The Atlantic Grill Room / Patio offers a la carte breakfast, lunch and dinners, complemented by a 6000-bottle open face wine cellar.

The Bar enjoys a nautical atmosphere and beautiful views through to Table Mountain. From 17h30 daily, a jazz quartet entertains guests until the early hours. The Conservatory offers all day dining a la carte, as well as light salads and desserts.

Adjacent to the lobby, the lounge boasts spectacular views across the south piazza towards Table Mountain. With its two feature fireplaces, lowered trussed ceiling, plush armchairs and sofas, this room has a warm, intimate ambience and invites guests to relax and read a variety of international and local newspapers to the accompaniment of live chamber music.

Afternoon tea in the British tradition is served daily and at cocktail hour, over a glass of chilled Cape vintage wine, a selection of hot and cold snacks are offered to guests.
